Terms and Conditions for Counseling and Coaching Services:
By booking a session with Danielle Alvarez Greer, also known as The Happy Family Coach, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Agreement to Services: By scheduling an individual or family counseling/coaching session, you acknowledge and agree that Danielle Alvarez Greer provides biblical counseling and life coaching services that are faith-based, and not licensed therapeutic or clinical counseling. You understand that all services are provided within the scope of her expertise as a biblical counselor and life coach.
2. Parental Consent for Minors: If you are a parent or legal guardian booking an individual counseling or coaching session for a minor (under 18 years of age), you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined here on behalf of the minor child. You further affirm that you have the legal authority to consent to the minor’s participation in counseling or coaching sessions. You understand that the services provided are intended to support the child’s personal, emotional, and spiritual growth and are based on biblical principles.
3. Confidentiality: All information shared during sessions will be kept confidential, except as required by law, including but not limited to cases involving harm to self, harm to others, or child abuse. Danielle Alvarez Greer reserves the right to disclose information as necessary to comply with mandatory reporting obligations.
4. Cancellations and No-Shows: Sessions can be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session or no-shows will be charged the full session fee. Please understand that missed appointments take valuable time away from others in need of services.
5. Payment: Payment is due at the time of booking. All payments are processed securely through the Setmore platform. Failure to make payment may result in the cancellation of future sessions.
6. Liability Waiver: By agreeing to these terms, you release Danielle Alvarez Greer from any liability, claims, or demands for any physical, emotional, or psychological harm arising from your participation in counseling or coaching services. These services are meant to provide spiritual and personal guidance but do not substitute for professional medical or psychological treatment.
7. Parental/Legal Guardian Involvement: If you are booking a session for a minor, you understand that while some parental involvement may be required, Danielle Alvarez Greer may work privately with the minor at her discretion to build trust and rapport. You agree to respect the confidentiality of the minor’s sessions, except in cases where disclosure is required by law or in the event of any imminent risk of harm.
8. Right to Terminate Services: Danielle Alvarez Greer reserves the right to terminate any counseling or coaching relationship if it is deemed that the services are no longer beneficial or appropriate, or if there is non-compliance with the terms outlined here.
9. Changes to Terms: Danielle Alvarez Greer reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
By booking a session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
